I had this on my wish list for Christmas and my boyfriend bought it for me. I didn’t try it until about a month later and it did not work. It made a buzzing sound and no matter what I did I could not get sound to come out of it. I put it away and then tried again a few weeks later, thinking maybe I had done it wrong. It still did not work. I then emailed the company. I gave them a month to respond. I then emailed again and left a phone message (I am pretty sure they never actually answer the phone). Again, I gave them a month to call. I then emailed and called again and said that I need to have them respond in the next week. I never heard from them and yet, I still gave them about a month before I resorted to posting this.
How can a company not respond when a product is defective? We just lost that money. I can’t believe a company would do that. Do not buy from this company you will have absolutely no support or anyway of getting your money back if it doesn’t work.
I am still flabergasted that a company would just completely ignore you. JLAB are complete criminals.

The HP Pavillion appears to have all the current bells and whistles that a consumer would be looking for in a fast and long lasting computer. I would give this product 0 stars if it would let me. This product takes longer than my 10 year old computer to turn on. Additionally, every time there is a new tab the computer seems to get lost in an endless loop before it will allow you to enter any data. There aren’t enough words in the Webster dictionary to describe the extent of frustration and the amount of wasted time with this machine. I sent mine back. I purchased a computer from a different companyHP Pavilion A6750F Desktop PC (2.3 GHz AMD Phenom X4 9650 Quad-Core Processor, 8 GB RAM, 750 GB Hard Drive, DVD Drive, Vista Premium).

I think this laptop is practically perfect! I read all of the reviews on amazon before purchasing it, and the only flaw I read was that the grey letters on the keys were difficult to see. I have had no problem in any light or at any angle seeing what is on the keys. I have no complaints! It’s very user friendly and would recommend this laptop for anyone!

I am definitely OVERLY-Satisfied with this charger… It saves me a ton of space when I’m on the go and charges my personal and work laptops better than any factory unit. I’ve only had it for a short time but it shows no signs of wear and tear. If you like organization and neatness (or just cool stuff) I would recommend this product. It’s definitely affordable, being that most other chargers are well over $100 and aren’t even retractable like this one. Great Product at a affordable price!

I purchased the dv7-1262us version of this Pavilion notebook from Staples and have been pleasantly surprised with its capabilities. The video card (an Nvidia 9600M GT) handles most modern gaming titles on low-to-moderate graphics settings. I’m not aware of many notebooks below $1,000 that can play GTA 4 in medium resolution, but HP’s dv7 definitely makes the grade here. With the addition of a Blu-Ray ROM drive, the value of this machine becomes even greater.
There’s ample memory and processor power for handling most tasks with ease. Even though the unit can be upgraded to 8 GB of RAM, I believe most users will find the 4 GB of included memory more than adequate. The biggest performance killer is HP’s Total Care Advisor, which I recommend un-installing once setup is completed.
Another nice surprise was the machine’s speakers. Typical laptop sound systems are lacking in quality, but the dv7 is one of the best I have heard. Having a sub-woofer on the bottom is probably what makes the difference. Whether you’re listening to music or watching a Blu-Ray movie, the enhanced audio capability is a nice addition.
My only complaint is the silver, mirror-like touchpad. It is a smudge magnet! That’s a relatively minor issue in my opinion, and certainly doesn’t overshadow the tremendous overall value of the HP dv7.

I purchased this for my HP dv6000 series notebook.
Purpose: My previous battery was a 6 cell, and it would run out after 20 minutes! Abysmal. For some reason it decreased its battery life; before it used to get 1.5 hours. Not sure if this was an error on HP’s part. Note: If you run an HP diagnostics test on the battery, they tell you that some laptops’ batteries have been recalled/have major issues and HP will replace it free of charge and extend the warranty one year. See HP for details if your laptop qualifies.
Installation: As mentioned in other reviews, I had to slam the battery in. At first it may seem like it will not fit, but you have to give it a good hit so it will lock into place.
Performance: I get around 3.5 hours out of this puppy! I was really excited about this. I could watch a full movie on Netflix’s Watch Instantly, or pop in a DVD.
Heat: Like others, I like that the large battery props up the laptop, thus allowing for better ventillation, and negating a need to buy a fan.
Shape: The bulky battery makes it too easy for the CD-ROM bay to pop open. It seems as if it pushes out the CD and if you just tap it, *pop* it comes out. Minor issue. Also, since the battery does not run across the entire bottom of the laptop, it may make it a bit wobbly when it’s on a flat surface. Another minor gripe.
Verdict: An awesome upgrade! I have reinvigorated my laptop with such a long battery life, and now can watch full movies and do video editing all over the house. Excellent purchase.

I love logitech products, never had a problem with them and always satisfied and once again this mouse has met my satisfactions. Its not too small (I have small hands anyway) but then again its not too big. What do you expect for a notebook mouse! I love the nano receiver, if it wasn’t for that I wouldn’t have bought it therefore if your looking for a mobile mouse for your laptop and you don’t mind the small size then Grab this one you won’t be sorry!
